From all that we know, becoming so bold
Building our temple before we grow old
Erecting high walls to keep us from fear
Rejecting what surely would threaten what's dear
Reassuring each other of what we've been told
Preaching their gospel until we are sold
Gripping their words like cold iron bars
Shielding our eyes from clear shooting stars
Please take a moment and gaze into you
Try to remember what very few do
We are infinity shining forever
Our life a gift and sacred endeavor
Reclaim your mind and rise above
Forgive and shed hate to sanctify love
Build your own temple within your true heart
Live by example by doing your part
Your children s
Deathly still in grey soft smoke her whisper clear
Warm breath tempting misty memory within
Seduction gleaning soon invoke dim silhouette appear
Rose petals resting upon cold porcelain
Dreaming of silky vanilla divine
Golden leaf riding silver tide
White chocolate and blood red wine
For ethereal beauty I abide
Mystery weaving raven hair
Compelled by firelight dancing allure
Glistening before me feminine fair
Black latex immaculate maiden grandeur
Oh pale mistress bathed by moonlight
Your fiery eyes beseech me so
Vixen seductress of sweet twilight
Intoxicating grasp your crimson glow
Candles melting moist ivory skin
Lips of cherry against
Courting intuition, deeper into green
Morning dew like crystal drops
Her path a silver stream
Whisper penetrating, entering her song
Adrift in rhyme and feeling true
Her melody so strong
Memories cascading, golden veil made thin
Basking in remembrance
Her whisper now within
Mystery pervading, distant opal eyes
Wading into dream
The forest her disguise
Enchantment overwhelming, yielding to her call
Skin of aspen hair of autumn
Such beauty does enthrall
Dawn illuminating, kneeling at her feet
Offering my reverence
Rite of passage now complete
Destiny prevailing, giving me her hand
Together soon to be
Upon her sacred land
Reality dissol

Poetry has always been a passion of mine. I write when I feel compelled to and sometimes I like to share. I love romantic, otherworldly poetry which takes the reader on a journey of emotion. I enjoy rhyming poetry most because it draws the reader in and becomes a kind of path for them to follow ~ silver stream.
Poetry is a doorway to imagination, sanctioning fantasy by exposing the malleability of our collective reality.
Discover the courage to shed the skin of this collective reality and step out into your world with your own eyes. Model your perception of the reality you are living in by honoring your own direct experience. The re-enchantment of life blooms from the realization that personal belief is the true arbiter of possibility.
Thank you for taking the time to read some of what I have written. I will post more as my muse finds me.
